About CLUG

CLUG brings together LEGO enthusiasts from across the ACT to build, share, and give back — we run monthly meetings, major public exhibitions, and raise funds for local children's charities each year.

Our mission

CLUG has two core goals: to promote and support the LEGO fan community across the ACT and surrounds, and to contribute to fundraising for children's charities.

Since our founding we've held monthly meetings, run major public exhibitions, and raised tens of thousands of dollars for local children's charities along the way.

Community

Monthly meetings where members share builds, learn techniques, and connect with fellow enthusiasts.

Exhibitions

Public exhibitions featuring builders from Canberra and beyond, raising funds for local children's charities.

Junior Members

Young LEGO fans are full participants at every meeting and exhibition.

Giving back

Through exhibitions and events, we raise significant funds for local children's charities every year.

A club for all ages

CLUG actively welcomes junior members — kids are full participants at meetings and exhibitions, not just tolerated guests. There's a dedicated junior membership category, and families are always welcome.

Junior members get a spot at every meeting to present their builds to the group, and they're just as welcome as anyone to display at exhibitions. It's something we find genuinely rewarding to watch — a kid explaining their MOC to a room of supportive adults and peers builds confidence in a way that sticks.

Whether you're a long-time AFOL or an eight-year-old with their first Technic set, you're welcome here.

Who we support

Our premier annual event, the Canberra Brick Show, is our main fundraiser — a public LEGO exhibition that draws thousands of visitors and raises significant funds for local children's charities and schools. We also co-run Bricks@Woden each year alongside the Woden School P&C — part school fete, part LEGO exhibition — with funds going directly to the school.

About Bricks@Woden

Bricks@Woden is a community event CLUG runs each year in partnership with the Woden School P&C. Part school fete, part LEGO exhibition — it's a fun day for families and a chance for our members to display their creations in a welcoming school setting. All proceeds go directly to the Woden School.
